The first ever Font Purchasing Habits Survey occurred in 2016 and ran for 45 days from February 1 - March 15, 2016. There were 44 questions about font purchasing habits and preferences, as well as licensing misuse and font sharing. 765 people completed the survey. There was no free font giveaway as an incentive for respondents to complete the survey.
